Shraddha & Ancestral Rites

How PurohitConnect works

• The purohit sets their own price. We do not fix rates. Each priest publishes their own fee for a ceremony and receives that amount in full.
• The platform fee is separate and shown before you pay. Nothing is deducted from the priest's fee.
• Payment is held until the ceremony is done. The purohit's share is set aside when you pay and released after you confirm the puja was performed.
• If your purohit cannot attend, they can pass the booking to another verified purohit they trust, so your date holds.
• Online puja by video, with the sankalpam performed in your name and gotram — for families far from a priest, or abroad.
• Every purohit is reviewed and approved by us before they can be booked — we check their tradition, experience and the services they offer. Temple ceremonies require a further verification covering temple authorisation and Agama tradition.
