Common questions
How much does Krishna Janmashtami Puja cost?
The purohit sets their own price for Krishna Janmashtami Puja — we do not fix rates. You see that price before you book, and the purohit receives it in full. Our service fee is shown separately on top, never deducted from the priest's amount.
How do I book a purohit for Krishna Janmashtami Puja?
Choose your date and time, pick from the verified purohits available, and pay securely. The purohit's share is held until you confirm the ceremony was performed, so your money is protected until the puja is done.
Are the purohits verified?
Every purohit is reviewed and approved by us before they can be booked — we check their Veda tradition, gotra, experience and the services they offer. Temple ceremonies require a further verification covering temple authorisation and Agama tradition, so not every priest is approved for them.
What happens if my purohit cannot attend?
A purohit who cannot make your date can pass the booking to another verified purohit they trust, with an agreed referral share. Your ceremony still happens on the date you booked, performed by someone they vouch for.
Can Krishna Janmashtami Puja be performed online?
Yes. The purohit performs Krishna Janmashtami Puja live over video call and you join from wherever you are. The sankalpam is done in your name and gotram. A meeting link is sent after payment.
Can I book Krishna Janmashtami Puja from outside India?
Yes. Families in the United States, Canada and elsewhere can book Krishna Janmashtami Puja as an online puja by video. Bookings are priced in Indian rupees and paid with an Indian card or UPI, or by a family member in India using your booking reference.
